Kelly is a co-founder of TillmanCarlson and believes in the uncommon value that relationship-focused executive search provides to both enterprises and their leadership.
Along with her partner, Rob Tillman, Kelly is engaged on every assignment, and over the last six years, Rob and Kelly have conducted over 150 executive searches while serving over 1,000 clients and candidates.
The goal of TillmanCarlson's founders is no less than to become the best team in the executive search industry. As Kelly and Rob have been successful in building a team and a firm, they recognize their best days are ahead for the companies and people they serve. While this is an ambitious goal, few recruiters have the unique blend of style and experience combined with a strong belief in the power of a team. This spirit and chemistry transcends everything they do, and today's leaders recognize the difference.
In terms of earlier background, Kelly began her career in executive search with Russell Reynolds Associates where she worked with her current partner and several members of the TillmanCarlson team. She focused on the recruitment of technology leaders while building the software and services practice and leading the global Information officers practice. While serving for nearly a decade in the Chicago office, she found her passion for the business, aspired to focus on the art of recruiting, and left to build a firm of her own.
Prior to entering executive search, Kelly began her career in the telecommunications industry serving in sales and marketing with AT&T Corporation and MCI. Her educational background includes a bachelors degree from Benedictine University and an MBA from DePaul University. She currently resides in Naperville, Illinois with her husband and two children.
